Crafted Artisan Meadery, a craft manufacturer of the world’s oldest fermented beverage known as mead, announced the Grand Opening of their newly-expanded tasting room effective January 22, 2015.
The three day celebration will offer apiculture education by the Bee Lab of The Ohio State University and Blue Sky Beekeeping as well as musical entertainment by Honeytown, Jon Mosey, and Vertical Limit Bluegrass. There will also be food available by Stray Dog, a local gourmet hot dog cart.
With Crafted’s products now available in eight states, and more states planned, the need for on-site expansion quickly became a necessity. The newly-completed tasting room offers additional seating in a comfortable setting for customers to enjoy Crafted’s unique draft and still meads. They welcome customers to bring in their own food or order take-out as well.
“After hearing our customers’ demands for the past few years we’re super excited to finally expand our hours and be able to offer a place to sit down and enjoy our meads” said Crafted owner Kent Waldeck. “We have a ton of great things in store such as tasting room only releases, movie nights on our huge 120” HD screen, live music and more” said Waldeck.
