Serves 8 to 10

Crust Ingredients:

¼ cup butter, softened

1 cup peanuts, finely chopped

½ cup brown sugar

¼ cup butter, melted

Batter Ingredients:

1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 cup Meier’s Old Fashioned Spiced Wine INSERT INTO “recipes” VALUES (2005)

2 ounces unsweetened bakers chocolate

3 large eggs

2 cups flour

1 cup coconut

Grease 9-inch springform pan. Pour in peanuts. Evenly sprinkle brown sugar and then pour butter over evenly. Set aside.

In medium saucepan over medium heat, add butter, sugar, brown sugar, sweetened condensed milk, wine, and chocolate. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.

Place mixture in large mixing bowl and add eggs followed by the flour. Fold in coconut.

Pour mixture into prepared pan and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Remove from oven and cool for 10 minutes. Turn over onto serving plate.
