Gervasi Vineyard’s Family Reserve Wine Collection is crafted with grapes picked from their vineyard, capturing the true essence and character of Gervasi Vineyard.  “Unita” is an expression of Marquette, with an aromatic mosaic of blueberry, black currant, vanilla and clove framed by supple tannins and intriguing dark fruits. Unita is evocative of classical Reds with cool climate distinctiveness.

The Family Reserve wine collection provides an opportunity for the Swaldo Family to put a story and personal family member connection to each wine and label.  “Unita”, which means united in Italian, is released by Linda Swaldo.

“To me, unity, harmony and family are all one in the same. While members of our family can have different interests, opinions and desires, we each make efforts in our busy schedules to be together and unite. I am at my best and happiest when these times occur. Family dinners, birthdays and holidays are all such moments for alignment and connection,” said Linda. “Even as a small child, I remember appreciating family times together and always looking forward to my mom’s dinners. When a family can unite together and be in harmony, at the very core is a warm level of mutual love and respect that is irreplaceable.”

The two previous released Gervasi Family Reserve wines include, “Lascito”, Frontenac Gris and “Passione”, Aromella. Gervasi Vineyard is a 55-acre estate located within the city limits of Canton. The vineyard was planted in the spring of 2009 and after seven years of hard work and nurturing, Gervasi is releasing their third wine from their own vineyard.
