1 cup of Raven’s Glenn White Raven Wine
3 cups fresh pears sliced
2 tbl. corn starch
1 tbl. ground cloves
1 tbl. ground nutmeg
1 tbl. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
2 cups of flour
1 cup butter
1 tsp. salt
3 tbl. cold water

1. In a sauce pan on medium high heat; place all ingredients from the top to bottom except for the crust items.
Cook for 10 minutes and then remove from heat.
2. In a large mixing bowl; place the flour and salt.
3. Prepare crust by cutting butter into the flour until small balls form.
4. Add the water and continue to cut until large ball forms.
5. Spread dough out with rolling pin on a well floured flat surface.
6. Flatten to 1/4 inches and place in tart pan covering the bottom and sides completely.
7. Add the pear mixture and cover with a few strips of crust dough.
8. Place in preheated oven.
